MARLA SEIDEN founded Seiden Communications Inc., a public relations, marketing and advertising agency in 1980. Under the leadership of Ms. Seiden, the agency has developed and implemented successful multi-faceted campaigns for numerous companies nationwide.
Marla also provides speaking skills training to business executives and professionals who want to present with more confidence and impact so they stand out as industry experts and close more sales. Individual coaching, onsite corporate programs and small group workshops are offered.
In 2003, Ms. Seiden received the second Annual Marketing Executives Award Corporate Achievement of a Small Corporation presented by LI Business News and the LI Advertising Club.
Ms. Seiden presents marketing/public relations seminars for Long Island businesses. Recently she spoke at the State Bank of L.I. in New Hyde Park, the National Conference of CPA Practitioners, Lawyer's Roundtable, BNI, New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce and IEEE.
Ms. Seiden earned a Master of Arts in Communications from Queens College and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and English from SUNY at Albany.
Prior to establishing Seiden Communications, she held marketing and public relations positions at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Girl Scouts of the USA and Knickerbocker Toy Company. She was also an adjunct lecturer in Speech Communications at Bergen Community College, Paramus, NJ.
